I always enjoy art expressed by people who maximize their inward selves for the world to see. No matter how abstract the viewer might perceive it to be, it makes you question if their is such a thing as boundaries when it comes to our inner selves and how we make it tangible. This work is a great example of this. It is a job well done. Very enjoyable.

Franklin Evans layers references to landscape, biography, and gesture into complex imaginary spaces that reference specific places (like Nevada, where he was born) and personal history and identity. A studio visit with the New York-based artist, January 2007.
